The Bot Bus
A free summer shuttle from Downtown Berkeley BART
and Underhill Parking to the UC Botanical Garden
Saturdays and Sundays
June 3 – September 4
11 am – 5:15 pm
The Bot Bus will run every 30 minutes, with stops at Downtown Berkeley BART on Shattuck and Addison, Underhill Parking lot on Durant and College, and the UC Botanical Garden. The Bot Bus will be available every Saturday and Sunday plus Labor Day.
The Bot Bus is ADA compliant and has a bike rack!
The Downtown Berkeley Bot Bus Stop is on northbound Shattuck Ave at Addison St, at the Bear Shuttle stop in front of Sandwich Zone.
The Underhill Parking Bot Bus Stop is on Channing Way just west of College Ave, at the Bear Shuttle stop outside of Underhill Parking.
Shuttle runs every 30 minutes.
Parking is available in a lot located across the street from the main entrance to the Garden. It is a pay lot at the rate of $1 per hour and is enforced all day. The lot is operated by UC Berkeley’s Department of Parking and Transportation.
Getting Here By Shuttle
From Downtown Berkeley Bart, Monday – Friday (no weekend service):
- Take the Campus Perimeter shuttle from the Bank of America building (2129 Shattuck Ave.) in downtown Berkeley to Hearst Mining Circle.
- At the Hearst Mining Circle transfer to the H (Hill) Line shuttle which brings you directly to the Botanical Garden.
- Each shuttle costs $1.
Directions to the UC Botanical Garden may be affected by football games at California Memorial Stadium. For a list of upcoming game days, visit the Cal football website.
