Education: Green Stuff Day Camp

Every year, from mid-June to mid-August the Garden's Education Program offers a learning option for the summer....

Activities may include:


Explore the world of plants. Find out what makes a plant a plant, how types differ
and why. Investigate in a different part of the Garden everyday!

Taste foods from our Crops of the World garden.
See the plants growing and discover their country of origin!

Learn the amazing adaptations that allow plants to survive
in habitats from sea level to the tops of mountains!

Discover how people around the world use plants for clothing,
color, and fiber. Make crafts from plants to take home!

Experiment with growing your own plants and
learn horticultural skills to garden at home!

Enjoy dipping for water critters in the creek
and "Jay Play" on the Oak Knoll!
