Magnolia Circle

Thank you for your 10 plus years of UC Botanical Garden membership!

Magnolia wilsonii by Peggy Irvine

Magnolia wilsonii
by Peggy Irvine

Magnolia Society
In the language of flowers the magnolia symbolizes love of nature while plants in the genus Magnolia are among the oldest flowering plants on earth. The Garden's significant Magnolia collection recently received national recognition by the North American Plant Collections Consortium. The Garden naturally selected Magnolia as the genus to symbolize our most dedicated and loyal members, those with ten plus years of Garden membership.

You may use your receipt (online purchase) or temporary membership card (Entrance Kiosk purchase) as proof of membership until your permanent membership card(s) and Welcome Packet arrive by mail, usually within 3 weeks. During busier seasons, processing can take longer. If you plan to visit soon, please call 510-643-1924 to ask us to hold your member cards and materials at the Admissions Kiosk. We are happy to assist you with time sensitive memberships as well. Contact Member Services at 510-643-1924 or gardenmembership@berkeley.edu to request rush membership

You will begin receiving our monthly email newsletters, Garden Clippings and On the Deck, shortly after purchasing your membership. Garden Clippings contains timely information about tours, events, classes and other happenings at the Garden. On the Deck focuses on plants sold by the Garden. From time to time you may receive special mailings from us regarding other opportunities to support the Garden.
