'Raimilla' UCBG 66.0620, a large white; ivory/cream in color, often with a speck of red on the petals. The flower is typically 9 cm long and 6 cm wide. Instituto Agricola Metodista EL VERGEL refers to its color as cream or white marble. In 1929 horticulturist Elbert Reed purchase this plant and other forms from the Larenas family living in Cobquecura , Chile and brought it back to El Vergel. Larenas family members had started collecting Lapageria from the wild well before 1880. Cuttings from this cultivar will root but puts forth thin, weak aerial growths and slow with development into a mature plant. Referred to in Spanish as "Flor de oro." | ![]() |
