Lapageria rosea 'Toqui'
'Toqui' UCBG 66.0623, is the largest of the white cultivars (elongated), a pure white color stable with temperature variations. The flower is typically 11 cm long and 6 cm wide. It is vigorous with the potential for developing into a large specimen plant. Cuttings from this cultivar are not difficult to root, but as with all Lapageria a slow process and not for the impatient. 'Toqui' in the Mauche Indian language means chief and this cultivar's name in Spanish is "Jefe de caciques."
