LECTURE: Southeast Asia

Ch'ien Lee

Southeast Asia is one of the most biologically diverse areas in the world. Gifted photographer and naturalist Ch’ien Lee will be presenting a slide show on the biodiversity of plants and animals in this region. His subjects range from orchids and Nepenthes (pitcher plants) to birds, insects, amphibians and mammals. Ch’ien, who grew up in Berkeley, has lived the past 12 years in Borneo. He has worked on scientific studies, led nature-oriented tours, and photographed extensively throughout Borneo and Southeast Asia.
