Springtime Watercolors in the Garden

Thursdays, March 6 and 20, 2008 1 pm-4 pm

Discover basic techniques in watercolor painting with artist Nancy Saltsman. In this two-part workshop you will explore form, color, color mixing, and perspective. Venture into the Garden for practice to develop finer aspects of a completed watercolor painting.

$60, $50 members, supplies not included, supply list given upon registration.

Nancy Saltsman

Presenter:Nancy Saltsman

Nancy is a graduate of San Francisco State College with a BA in Fine Arts.
Her primary mediums are watercolor and colored pencil with subject matter strongly emphasizing plants and the natural world.  Most of Nancy's paintings are realistic renderings of her chosen subject with an occasional foray into landscapes and whimsy.
She is a member of:
Society of Botanical Artists
American Society of Botanical Artists
Colored Pencil Society of America
California Watercolor Association
Guild of Natural and Scientific Illustrators

She holds an adult education teaching credential and teaches through Livermore Adult Ed.  She is currently serving on the Livermore Commission for the Arts.
