Click ON THE ROAD BETWEEN SOUTH AFRICA AND THE NEW WORLD DESERT: The main upper road from the entrance leads one past the Arid House (behind you here) and the Karoo area of South Africa on your left and the New World Desert on your right. In mid-winter here, the Karoo still has a spattering of bloom, especially from the Aloes, and a lot of green foliage of the winter-growing geophytes. Just wait!
