What plants flourished when dinosaurs roamed the Earth? Cycads, cone-bearing plants more closely related to conifers than flowering plants, offer a critical window into plant life over 100 million years ago. At this month’s hands-on botanical Discovery Station, get up close with these remarkable plants, learn about their amazing adaptations, and learn more about the Garden’s unique cycad collection.
