Plein AiR Patrol: Inside the Artist’s Studio with Forest Stearns

You are invited to join artist Forest Stearns of DRAWEVERYWHERE Studios in his interactive Artist in Residency (AiR) project, Plein AiR Patrol. Once a month, Forest serves as host for a meet-up of artists at any level (beginners to experienced) to engage in a regular practice of drawing/painting inspired by the diversity of the UC Botanical Garden.

For January we will be having a virtual meet-up over Zoom, with Forest serving as host from his own studio.

In his words: The purpose of this meet up is to inspire our community to continue our artistic practice even when we are in our own homes. Some of us have studios and some of us have kitchen tables, but that should not deter us from working on pieces at whatever size that suits our space. From sketchbook to epic murals, it is the time we spend practicing that will bring our finished works to life with our own artistic voice and creative style. Please join me in my own studio over a Zoom call and I will introduce you to my work process and share my current projects, which have been inspired by our Plein AiR Patrol, my UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley Artist in Residence program with this amazing community.
