Julia Morgan Hall

Beauty, elegance and history. Deeply rooted in the Berkeley architectural tradition, this historic American Craftsman-style structure offers both indoor and outdoor options for your reception, professional retreat, or other gathering.

It’s a short walk from the Mather Redwood Grove, so there’s no need to move your guests to another locale if you’ve held your ceremony there. It’s also equipped with every modern convenience and is ADA accessible. Its sunny outdoor deck overlooks our scenic California plant collection.

Designed by famed architect Julia Morgan, the Senior Women’s Hall, was built in 1911 and located on the main campus until moved to the Garden in 2014. Lovingly restored it is listed on both California and national historic registries.

Capacity: Julia Morgan Hall can accommodate up to 82 people
