Discover Roman Spain: Gardens, Culture and Cuisine
May 1–13, 2026
Get ready for a very special tour of Spain during the festival of the Patios in Cordoba. We will visit amazing Roman villas and amphitheaters, as we meander through central and southern Spain. From Madrid, the capitol and cultural center of Spain, we will explore Segovia and Toledo on our way to Merida, one of the most important cities from Roman times.
The tour includes several days in Carmona, one of Spain’s ancient hill towns, and our base for visiting Cordoba and Seville to see their amazing patio gardens. A drive through the vast olive groves in Andalucia will take us through Ronda to Malaga on the Costa del Sol. We will also visit the spectacular palaces and gardens of Granada and some of the wonderful new art museums in Malaga.
Along the way, we will enjoy the best of Spanish regional cuisine. The tour is planned for a small group, and we expect it to fill quickly. Please contact Sterling Tours for reservations and tour information
