ZOOM FAMILY PROGRAM: Crafting with California Native Plants

Sunday, September 19 | 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Pick up a California Native Plant Crafting Kit and join us online for this fun hands-on program with our Education Director. We’ll begin by learning about some of the creative ways California Native Americans first used plants for shelter, fiber, tools, music, and toys. Then we will take out our Kit and get crafting as you make your own creations from native plants such as tule, cattail, and acorns.

(Parent participation recommended. Designed for ages 7+.)

Kit pick-up required: Kits are available for pick up Friday, Sept 17 or Saturday, Sept 18 at the Garden Entrance Kiosk during open hours, 9am – 4:30pm.
