Adopt a Tree

The UC Botanical Garden is home to an important and diverse collection of trees

Commemorate a special event or remember a loved one by becoming a guardian of one of these Garden icons such as the endangered cloud forest magnolia (Magnolia sharpii) or the iconic Rhododendron arboreum located in the Asia Collection. Your tree adoption will be commemorated with a new interpretive sign for your tree, enabling the Garden to share its history and conservation significance with thousands of Garden visitors. You may also include a personal dedication on the sign. Tree adoptions begin at $12,000, with a duration of ten years and provide a significant contribution to environmental education and conservation. Gifts are fully tax deductible and may be applied towards university class gifts and giving societies.
