Planted by the Civilian Conservation Corps Company in the early 1930s, the Stephen T. Mather Redwood Grove includes five acres of majestic coast redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens) surrounding a classic stone and wood amphitheater that’s perfect for weddings and other ceremonies. It’s been called “one of the prettiest amphitheaters in the area,” creating a magnificent natural cathedral that evokes a fantasy forest.
Capacity: The Redwood Grove and Amphitheater can accommodate up to 200 guests (capacity lowers to 82 for ceremony + receptions from April through October, to 72 for ceremony + receptions from November through March)
