Learn the traditional horticultural technique of grafting–and gain two apple trees!
At this hands-on workshop, we’ll walk you through the process of grafting: attaching a desirable branch of one variety (scion) to a strong and compatible rootstock of another variety, creating a new tree with the best qualities of both. Leave with two heirloom apple varieties using scion generously donated by Filoli estate garden’s Gentleman’s Orchard.
All supplies provided, including a new Opinel gardening knife to keep!
