K-12 Virtual Engagement
Schedule a docent to visit your virtual classroom and take your students on a learning adventure to remember!
The Garden offers live Zoom sessions with a trained docent host. Docents provide an introduction to the topic, followed by a series of pre-recorded video clips filmed in the Garden’s spectacular, 34-acre collection of plants. Docents engage students after each video clip with a live Q&A, plus additional Q&A at the end when time allows. Each presentation includes ~6, 3-minute videos.
Zoom Sessions are being provided free of charge for Title 1 schools.
In-person Presentations in Classrooms
Docents can travel to nearby school for in-person presentations with limited availability. Please inquire with the Volunteer & Tour Scheduler (email@example.com) for more information. Fees for in-classroom presentations are $75 for one presentation or $60 each for two or three presentations given on the same day.
